Checkpoint is a backup tool designed to help developers protect their work. However:

- Database dumps may be incomplete or incompatible with future versions
- Restoration may not produce exact copies of original files

You use Checkpoint entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for maintaining independent backups of all critical data. Checkpoint should be one part of a comprehensive backup strategy, not your only safeguard.
