- Local storage — Our website uses browser localStorage to remember UI preferences (e.g., whether you have dismissed the newsletter popup). This data is stored only on your device and is never sent to our servers.

- Your backup data — Checkpoint runs entirely on your local machine. Your source code, files, databases, encryption keys, and backup contents never leave your device unless you configure cloud sync to your own storage provider. We have zero access to your backup data.
- Telemetry — Checkpoint does not phone home, transmit usage statistics, or send any data to Fluxcode Studio servers during normal operation.
- Cloud credentials — If you configure cloud sync (Dropbox, iCloud, S3, etc.), your credentials are stored locally on your machine. We never see or store them.
2. How We Use Information
- To respond to your inquiries and support requests
- To send newsletter updates (only if you opted in)
- To improve the Service and fix bugs
- To comply with legal obligations
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information only:
